Brasfoot-style game online: be the manager right in your browser

If you grew up playing Brasfoot or Elifoot and want that feeling of running a club again, now online and with nothing to download, Master Liga was made for you. See what is similar, what is different and what the game does not have yet.

What feels like Brasfoot

  • Divisions with promotion and relegation

Each league has 14 clubs playing home and away. At the end of the season, the top 3 go up and the bottom 3 go down.

  • Line-ups and substitutions

You pick the starting 11, the formation follows their positions, and you get up to 5 substitutions per match, which can be scheduled before kick-off.

  • Market and contracts

Sign free agents by offering a wage and a 1 to 5 season contract, renew the players doing well and release the ones you no longer need.

  • Club finances

Gate receipts, ticket price, fan base, sponsorship, wages and prize money by final position shape your club's cash.

  • Players who develop and age

Each player has 17 skills from 1 to 99, improves by playing and training, gets older every season and eventually retires.

  • Youth academy

Youngsters aged 15 to 22 join the academy, train, and can be promoted to the first team with a professional contract.

What is different from Brasfoot

  • Online, against other managers

Leagues mix clubs run by other people and clubs run by the computer. Every club with a manager behind it is a real rival.

  • One round per day

The season does not move when you click: matches are played at a fixed time, one round per day, so a season lasts about a month.

  • Matches happen even when you are offline

The match is simulated at the scheduled time either way. If you log in, you follow it live with commentary and stats.

  • No download

It runs in the browser on your computer or phone, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Just create an account.

  • A club of your own

You choose the name, short name, crest, colours and stadium, and take over a club's place in the division of the country you pick.

  • Cups between countries

After the leagues, the top clubs from each country play knockout cups, with penalty shoot-outs narrated live.

What Master Liga does not have

  • Real clubs and players

Players have fictional names and clubs are created by managers or by the game. With Premium you can rename players to pay your own tributes.

  • Transfers between clubs

The market only has free agents, players without a club. You cannot bid for a player from another team.

  • Playing the season at your own pace

You cannot simulate several rounds at once: the calendar is the same for every club in the league.

  • Injuries

There are no injuries. Wear and tear shows up as fatigue, which carries over from one match to the next and calls for squad rotation.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is Master Liga an online version of Brasfoot?

No. Master Liga is an independent game with no connection to Brasfoot. It follows the same football manager idea, but it was built to be played online, in the browser, against other managers.

  • Is Master Liga free?

Yes. The game is free. There is an optional Premium plan that unlocks customisation and adds cash to your club, but it does not change skills or match results.

  • Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Master Liga works in your phone's browser, with no app to install.

  • How much time do I need each day?

Not much. There is one round per day, at the league's time. You can set your line-up and schedule substitutions before the match and just check the result afterwards.
